And that's *exactly* what it is here in beautiful Los Angeles, California. I really like this place. If I could, I would come live in California every January and February.
I'm here for my second ever ACDA National Convention (the first being New York City in 2003, which was also freakin' awesome). New experiences so far: staying in a hotel that actually had bellhops carry our bags up to the room, and cruising around downtown L.A. in a Sebring convertible (my friend David from MSU rented a car). The plan is to go to Hollywood and eat at In-n-Out Burger this afternoon before coming back to see the concert session this afternoon (on which is performing the SMSU Chorale, of which my friend Lindsay is a member).
Returning to KC on Sunday, where I will have to start wearing a jacket again.... Stupid midwest weather. :-)
