Two new beers...

... and two that I really don't plan on drinking again.
"Budweiser Select" and "Budweiser extra" (aka "B to the e").
Yeah.... don't recommend them.
Just think about this for a moment: Somewhere, someone thought up the idea of combining beer and energy drinks and marketing it. "Beer with Caffeine, Ginseng, and Guarna extract". It was more like Red Bull with a hint of beer flavoring. The other just wasn't that good either.
On the flip side however, it was my friend and future roommate, Adam, that brought the stuff over cause he was intrigued by it, and its not-goodness notwithstanding, it *was* free beer.

Adam, Sean, and Mark were all over here for a bit last night. Good friends, good times. Sean and I ended up having another one of our trademarked late-night/early-morning in-depth discussions about life, God, and the Universe in general. We're reallt getting good at talking about stuff until 5 or 6 in the morning.

I slept until 3:30 PM today. (See previous paragraph to see why that shouldn't be a shocking thing.)

Adam has referred to this particular group as "The Four Horsemen"...
That always just leaves me wondering which of us is War, Pestilence, Famine, and Death. :-)

Oh... (as I'm sure you all are wondering)... Coffee with Dana went just fine... we sat and had a good conversation for about an hour and a half. I seem to be having coffee with a lot of people lately, however. (Did I mention that whole "Several people are trying to set me up" thing?) I think I'm going to cancel the eHarmony thing, though. It's money that I could be spending elsewhere.

*five minutes pass*

Yeah, I've just spent about 5 minutes sitting here at the keyboard trying to think of something deeply philisophical to say about life, love, or something else of that nature. Nothing's coming though.

I have however, in that time period, listened to "Learn to be Lonely" from Phantom of the Opera, "Brothers in Arms" by Dire Straits (the song from the 2nd season finale of The West Wing). Good songs, both of them.

Tomas Luis de Victoria's "O Magnum Mysterium" is one of the most beautiful pieces of music ever written. For those of you unfamiliar with that style of music, I highly recommend that you find a copy.

Sorry, still no deep thoughts. Hope you're not disappointed. ;-)
Talk to you soon, my friends.

-Seth

You know, I remember you mentioning you've become a BTVS fan, but I now have confirmation; "Once more, with feeling" has been Sethed from :-)
It's like the Good Old Days again.
Just tell me you've memorized the lyrics (as I had, once), and it will be just like college again...
